Manager – James Majer
Involved in hotel & bottleshop management for the past 14 years, as well as a one year stint as a Cuban cigar salesman, James brings a wealth of experience to the team and handles all the front and back of house duties. With a passion for boutique beers & single malt whiskeys, as well as wine, James has a broad knowledge of the industry and is always happy to offer advice.

Head Chef – Brent Taylor
After completing his apprenticeship at Meads Fish Gallery and Jo Jo’s in 1995, Brent moved to London to start his career at Mezzo, owned by Sir Terrence Conran and working under Head Chef, John Torode. Following that he held the position of Head Chef in several restaurants in the Mayfair and Soho areas of London. He has recently returned to settle in Perth after 13 years abroad and is enjoying the challenge of creating the menus for Steves Fine Wine & Food.

Fine Wine Consultant – Michael Hartley
Michael is our resident wine guru, specialising in the areas of imported and premium wines, with a passion for Burgundy. He has travelled extensively, tasting wines from all over the world and regularly supports McHenry Hohnen Vintners at the London Wine & Spirits Fair under the umbrella of Louis Latour Agencies. He is also host to many tastings and has been a panel member for the WA lifestyle magazine Scoop. He very much enjoys dealing on a personal level with our clients, so if there is a certain wine you cannot find or want notification of new wines or vintages, please contact him.
